This rare opportunity will suit a highly self-motivated and dynamic person with the ability to lead and mentor a diverse team who deliver the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of various water treatment plants across South Australia’s Riverland area.
As the Coordinator you will play a key role in leading the team and working with other stakeholders to ensure we achieve our vision of world class water services for a better life.
You will be pivotal in leading the safety and performance culture of the team, managing the safe and reliable delivery of operations as well as ensuring the team achieve all key performance and operating targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance for Health and Safety, water quality and environment are met and we also meet the needs of our customers.
The team are based at locations from Blanchetown to Berri in the Riverland so regular travel will be required, along with the flexibility to work after hours and a current drivers licence will be mandatory at all times.
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:
Be able to effectively plan and coordinate operation and maintenance activities using SA Water resources and external service providers.
Have the ability to analyse complex technical operational problems and determine appropriate solutions working under limited supervision.
Candidates that have achieved Trade Qualifications (mechanical/electrical), Post trade qualifications relevant to the operation and maintenance of treatment plants, tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering will be highly regarded.
A Certificate III in Water Operations and/or Certificate in Water Treatment would be considered an advantage.

Salary range $84773 - $92150 + Superannuation
