About the job
The Risk Business Partner is a key member of a high-performing team of risk professionals delivering a transformational Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program that is reshaping how risk is understood, managed and leveraged across the organisation.
Partnering closely with leaders and subject matter experts, this role provides trusted advice and practical support to corporate functions including finance, legal, and customer and stakeholder management, helping teams confidently navigate risk while achieving their objectives.
Acting as a primary liaison with other business functions, including technology, the Risk Business Partner builds strong relationships, influences decision-making, and drives the integration of effective risk management into everyday business activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and collaborative professional to make a tangible impact, contribute to organisational success, and play a leading role in advancing risk maturity across SA Water.
About the Person
We are looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking risk professional with strong, practical experience applying enterprise risk principles in real business settings. You will be a natural business partner, confident in providing specialist advice across corporate risk areas such as financial, compliance, legal, reputation and customer risk, and able to translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable insights. You bring experience in complex, fast-paced environments, and most importantly, you are adaptable, commercially minded, and open to embracing new ways of working, including emerging technologies and modern risk practices.
