About the Job

Be part of the Operations group as they build capability and capacity assisting with shaping our future and improve our data, analytics and performance outcomes. Create greater connectivity with internal and external stakeholders to better influence, manage expectations and control workflows. Designing a system of continuous improvement and a culture of operational excellence to build resilience into our operations.

This maximum term opportunity until 27th April 2025, as the Improvement Specialist you will identify areas for improvement and developing strategies to improve the process and drive the execution of improvement initiatives as part of an overall operation program to meet agreed time, cost and quality parameters. This role will involve some regional travel to our field depots.

  • Clearly defining improvement initiative objectives and scope, evaluating, and prioritizing potential improvements
  • Mapping out in detail the desired state, through clearly defining improvement methodology and accurately analysing options including impact and feasibility
  • Regularly review and maintain a change program and change activity schedule in consultation with enterprise subject matter experts and relevant sponsors and leads.
  • Coordinate the regular review of the program change program using the relevant tools whilst providing ongoing coaching and support to the various sponsors and leads.
  • Ensure projects delivered create a return on investment and are value for money
  • Establish and maintain collaborative and effective partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate and prepare content material for all internal and external stakeholders

Your success will come from:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with- the ability to drive change by influencing and persuading stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional presentation abilities to influence outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management related degree or significant industry experience
  • Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time frames
