About the job
In this role as a Wastewater Treatment Coordinator (South-East) you will be responsible for leading the efficient, cost-effective, and reliable operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants as well as recycled water schemes.
The role ensures compliance with environmental, public health, and performance standards while managing operations, asset maintenance, and contractor performance. It also involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational procedures and safety standards, driving continuous improvement, and providing input into capital projects.
Your key responsibilities include managing plant performance, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, and promoting a safe, collaborative work environment.
Travel across these sites will be a regular part of your role to provide hands-on leadership and ensure consistent, high standards of service delivery across all locations.

About Operations and Maintenance
The Operations & Maintenance team oversees the management of our water, wastewater and River Murray activities and conducts operational control activities for a secure water supply. The team is responsible for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, integrating corrective, preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance strategies. They aim to meet availability, performance, cost, and risk targets by leveraging technical asset maintenance and reliability expertise. Operations & Maintenance strives to deliver smart and reliable services to customers while enhancing overall operational efficiency.
