SA Water is seeking a proactive Business Support Coordinator to manage day-to-day administrative duties for Senior Managers and Business Units in Science and Strategy. This pivotal role involves providing crucial support to management and the team, ensuring efficient communication, diary and email management, and business support functions.

With a talent for quickly understanding and seamlessly managing calendars and emails across multiple mailboxes, while also progressing broader administrative support outcomes, you contribute to efficient communication and seamless operations. Eager to embrace new responsibilities, you prioritise safety and organisational excellence in all endeavours, making you an invaluable addition to the SA Water team.

In addition, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide comprehensive business support, including effective email and diary management for Senior Managers, acting as a liaison for internal/external stakeholders, and coordinating the activities of the Business Support Officer.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, taking minutes, producing reports and presentations, and managing travel, training, and conference bookings for Senior Managers.
  • Contribute effectively to team goals by implementing directives from the Executive Assistant to the General Manager Science and Strategy, completing assigned tasks, and actively participating in decision making and problem-solving.
  • Support the Science and Strategy team in managing and improving internal systems and processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance administrative processes within the Science and Strategy department.
  • Prioritise safety above all else by adhering to WHS Roles and Responsibilities Procedure and ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and others.

Your success in this role will come from:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, with sound knowledge of Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and implement appropriate solutions with initiative, autonomy, authority, and judgment.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration is desirable.
