About the Job

Support the development and implementation of asset management plans to ensure SA Water’s water assets meet service levels efficiently and sustainably. This role focuses on analysis, planning, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance infrastructure performance. This role involves focused activity on water treatment plants and pump station facilities.

About Sustainable Infrastructure

The Sustainable Infrastructure group is dedicated to maximising value for customers and the community by developing innovative and optimised infrastructure plans, and overseeing the planning, construction, delivery, and maintenance of water and sewerage assets across the state and business.

Your responsibilities for this opportunity 

Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. 

You will: 

  • Contribute to the development of Asset Approaches and Asset Management Plans for SA Water’s regional water assets.
  • Support forecasting, risk analysis, and investment planning to optimise asset performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between asset strategies and business objectives.
  • Assist in identifying and prioritising asset investment options that balance service levels, costs, and risks.
  • Analyse and interpret asset performance data to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Your success in this role will come from: 

  • Qualifications in Engineering, Science, Asset Management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Understanding of asset management principles and infrastructure planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate investment options.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to complex planning environments.
  • Knowledge of water infrastructure is desirable.
