Drive impactful change by partnering with Sustainable Infrastructure teams to shape the future of capital financial management. Take the lead in governance and reporting while delivering innovative insights and solutions to optimise budgeting, forecasting, and performance measures for transformative infrastructure programs.

About Business Insights and Excellence

The Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing, supply chain management, and performance optimisation to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.

Your responsibilities for this opportunity 

Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. 

You will: 

• Partner with Asset Planners and Project Managers to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Lead financial reporting, analysis, and governance for capital programs.
• Maintain and reconcile key financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide commercial insights and financial advice to stakeholders to drive decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements in project accounting and financial governance.

Your success in this role will come from: 

• Holding CA or CPA qualifications with 5–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrating extensive knowledge of infrastructure assets and capital program management.
• Proficiency in financial and project management systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.
• Successfully building strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Driving process improvements and ensuring accurate reporting aligned with compliance requirements.
