About the job
The Business Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth business operations and supporting the delivery of people-focused services across SA Water. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation, the Business Support Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support, enabling the broader People & Safety group to thrive.
From managing team inboxes and SharePoint sites to organising travel, coordinating meetings, maintaining pool vehicles, and assisting with procurement processes, this role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to person behind the scenes.
About the Person
The successful candidate will be a capable and efficient administrator with a strong customer service mindset. They will bring experience in business support or operational coordination, and be comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. With a keen eye for detail, they will take pride in delivering accurate work and building positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners alike.
They will be highly organised, self-motivated, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a collaborative approach and commitment to supporting others. Experience using records management systems and procurement processes will be highly regarded.
About People and Safety
The People and Safety group are focused on ensuring workforce well-being and success through strategies such as talent attraction, diversity, and collaboration, while also prioritising health and safety efforts to prevent harm and promote overall well-being and career development.
