About the job  

We are looking for a proactive Business Support Officer to assist with essential business and administrative support. You’ll coordinate meetings and events, arrange travel for the group, support team communications and records management, and contribute to corporate initiatives. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to helping the team operate efficiently. This is an ongoing role part time capacity of 0.8FTE.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality service. You’ll be a team player with a flexible, collaborative mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities.

About Business Insights and Excellence

The Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing and regulation, financial management, supply chain management, and corporate government, risk and resilience to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.

Your success in this role will come from: 

  • Demonstrated capability to provide high quality administrative and business support services
  • Experienced with diary management
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Certificate III in Business Administration or similar qualification (desirable)
