About the Job

As an End User Compute (EUC) Technical Specialist, you will oversee the management and optimisation of SA Water's endpoint device environment, ensuring it meets current and future organisational needs and supports workforce productivity. Your role involves developing device roadmaps, managing lifecycle refresh programs for over 1,000 devices annually, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the user experience. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, driving improvements and efficiencies across device management policies, processes, and technologies.

Your responsibilities for this opportunity 

Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. 

You will: 

• Develop and implement roadmaps for SA Water’s endpoint devices.
• Work with a team managing a fleet of over 4,000 endpoint devices.
• Lead IT Asset Lifecycle management for over 1,000 devices annually, ensuring timely refreshes and financial efficiency.
• Optimise end-user experience by testing and configuring devices and deployment & management methodologies to meet business requirements.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Use your experience and expertise to drive process improvements and identify innovative opportunities to enhance workforce productivity and business outcomes.

Your success in this role will come from: 

• Degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business field.
• Strong communication skills and a user-focused mindset.
• Experience and strong knowledge using, configuring & managing Endpoint Management systems (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Workspace One).
• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering human centric solutions.
• Ability to lead projects and manage competing priorities effectively.
