About the job  

You will be responsible for documenting business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your work will support the standardisation of ways of working, enhance business planning, and drive efficiency across the Sustainable Infrastructure division. A key focus of the role is embedding change management practices to ensure sustainable implementation and long-term adoption of initiatives.

About the Person

A proactive and analytical professional with a passion for continuous improvement and driving efficiency. You have a strong background in business process mapping and improvement, with a proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical, sustainable solution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and standardise practices across Sustainable Infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement improvement projects, using lean methodologies, and monitor outcomes to ensure sustainable benefits are achieved.
  • Work closely with teams and leaders to understand operational challenges, gather input, and co-design future-state processes.
  • Share success stories, facilitate learning, and deliver training to build awareness and capability in process improvement practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of business planning inputs, initiative pipelines, and regular reporting processes.
  • Assist with communication, engagement, and adoption strategies to ensure new processes and improvements are embraced and sustained.

Your success in this role will come from: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in process improvement, including process modelling, Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, and a sound understanding of change management principles
  • Strong capability in business planning and performance reporting, with the ability to support the development and tracking of strategic initiatives
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain buy-in and drive change across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Extensive knowledge of operational and project business processes and systems
