About the role

As the Technology PMO Analyst & Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of technology programs and projects across the organisation. Based within the Technology Portfolio Management Office, this role ensures high-quality project outcomes through the use of consistent project management practices, governance processes, and clear performance reporting. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys working with data, and is driven to improve project performance through evidence-based insights.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the operations of the Technology Portfolio Management Office, including the management of project frameworks, tools, templates, and repositories.
  • Developing and maintaining corporate reporting, dashboards, and performance insights.
  • Managing key tools such as MS Project Online, the Capital and Asset Planning System, and Power BI.
  • Overseeing governance activities such as quality assurance, financial monitoring, and reporting for the Technology Portfolio Group.
  • Assisting with planning the product lifecycle in collaboration with the Technology Manager.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Championing agile and lean project management practices across the Technology group.

Your success in this role will come from:

  • Experience in IT project environments and strong understanding of project management methodologies (agile, waterfall, iterative).
  • Proficiency in corporate reporting and performance analysis, particularly using Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a technology context (evaluate project performance, manage data and generate insights)).
  • Ability to build reports using PowerBI combined with strong process improvement knowledge.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritise, and consistently deliver outcomes on time.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a technology or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
