About the job
The Works Planner plays a vital role within SA Water Growth External Enquiries team, ensuring enquiries are efficiently managed from start to finish. This role is responsible for receiving, assessing, prioritising and distributing incoming requests, maintaining accurate records, and tracking progress to deliver timely and high-quality outcomes.
The Works Planner ensures compliance with all corporate and legislative requirements, while proactively monitoring workloads and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Success in this role relies on building strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, contributing positively to team performance, and supporting SA Water’s commitment to responsive and customer-focused service delivery.
About the Person
The ideal person for the Work Planner role is organised, detail-orientated, and confident in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They bring strong administrative and coordination skills, with the ability to assess, track and distribute enquiries efficiently while maintaining accuracy and compliance. A natural collaborator, they build trusted relationships across teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders and customer to achieve shared outcomes.
This person is proactive in identifying process improvements, adaptable to changing demands, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Their professionalism, accountability, and positive team approach enable them to contribute effectively to SA Water’s high-performance culture.
