About the job  

We are seeking an Asset Information Specialist to support Sustainable Infrastructure by providing high‑quality, reliable infrastructure information that enables effective asset planning, performance monitoring, and decision‑making. This role plays a critical part in ensuring asset data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvement of asset information systems and processes.

About the Person

You are a detail‑focused and analytical professional with a strong interest in asset management and data quality. You enjoy working collaboratively, solving data‑related problems, and improving systems and processes.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Deliver allocated work, follow leadership direction, and collaborate to achieve team goals and service excellence.
  • Safety leadership by complying with WHS requirements and take responsibility for personal and workplace safety and wellbeing.
  • Asset reporting & Analysis by producing ad‑hoc and standard reports on asset performance, condition, costs, and data quality.
  • Maintain accurate, current asset data and resolve data quality and information issues.
  • Capital project support by assisting with the capture and analysis of asset information for capital works and projects.
  • Improve asset information processes and systems, support effective use of GIS/CSIS, manage small projects, and liaise with Information Services.

Your success in this role will come from: 

  • Experience in asset information management, data analysis, or infrastructure reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience working with asset management systems, GIS, and corporate information systems.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate reports for a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • An understanding of WHS principles and a commitment to safety.
  • Experience with Maximo would be a highly advantageous.
