About the job
As Senior Manager, you report directly to the CIO and be at the heart of safeguarding SA Water’s IT and OT environments, sponsor our very large cyber program and lead the cyber and resilience strategy and implementations. As we are a critical infrastructure provider, you will work with national and state regulators and continue to improve our environment in an agile way with a focus on risk management, preparedness, prevention and resilience.
In this critical leadership position, you will collaborate across the organisation, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to embed cyber security and resilience into every aspect of our business operations and balance the need to protect with the opportunity to enable.
You will inspire and guide your team to reach their full potential, ensuring consistency, service excellence, and alignment with our core values and broader business goals.
This Senior Manager role is available for 3 years.
About the Person
We are seeking a strategic, highly skilled leader with a proven track record in cyber security and resilience. Experience in critical infrastructure sectors, such as utilities, mining, or heavy infrastructure, is desirable and you enjoy and are excellent in engaging with technology experts, executive teams, board members, industry partners and other stakeholders.
Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, focused on fostering an inclusive environment in line with our culture. You like to welcome a passionate leader and great colleague who is ready to make a significant impact. For this role, you will need Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance.
