About the job  

The Business Coordinator for Growth Central provides essential administrative support through, helping leaders and team members work together effectively to deliver growth outcomes. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organised, approachable and enjoys supporting people in their day‑to‑day work.

You’ll assist with coordinating meetings, managing communications, supporting on-boarding and travel arrangements, and improving administrative processes across the group.

By working closely with leaders, Senior Managers and colleagues, you’ll be a reliable point of contact who helps maintain a supportive, collaborative and well‑run work environment within Growth.

In addition, your responsibilities will include: 

Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. 

You will: 

  • Coordinate and take minutes at meetings, and coordinate actions resulting from them.
  • Email and diary management to facilitate effective and efficient cross-team engagements
  • Assist in the coordination of periodical and ad hoc meetings, forums, committees etc.  with room bookings, event invites, room set-ups, and catering.
  • Produce reports, correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets in a timely and accurate manner as required.

Your success in this role will come from: 

  • Certificate in Business Administration or Diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with relevant internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and develop and implement appropriate solutions using initiative, autonomy, authority, and judgement
