About the job
The Technical Enquiry Specialist plays a central role in managing, coordinating and resolving all technical enquiries received by the Growth Central Team.
This position acts as the interface between internal teams, customers and contractors, assessing technical information, applying engineering or operational expertise, and providing clear, timely guidance that supports decision-making.
The role ensures enquiries are handled in line with corporate frameworks, while also identifying risks, escalating issues appropriately and contributing to continual improvement. By collaborating closely with operational, engineering and customer-facing teams, the Technical Enquiry Specialist helps maintain the reliability of water and wastewater systems, supports consistent service delivery, and upholds organisational governance and safety expectations.
About the Person
The ideal Technical Specialist is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail driven environment and is confident handling a high volume of varied technical queries each day. They are skilled at analysing information quickly, interpreting engineering, operational and compliance requirements and turning complex details into clear, practical advice for colleagues, customers and contractors.
On a daily basis, this person reviews and triages enquiries, investigates issues by working with internal teams and technical specialists, prepares accurate responses and ensures each matter is managed in line with corporate frameworks and regulatory obligations.
They proactively identify risks, escalate concerns when required and track enquiry progress to ensure a timely resolution.
